Pearl Resort (formerly the Hawaiki Nui) is located at the edge of the lagoon just one
mile from the main town. Features include garden rooms, lagoon front or
overwater bungalows - each with telephone, refrigerator, hair dryer, and
individual safe. The bar and restaurant overlook the lagoon and pool. Options
include snorkeling, scuba diving to a wreck right in front of the hotel. Excurtions
include day trips to nearby Tahaa and the more adventurous pre-dawn hike to the
top of Mt. Temehani.
